Taylor Marine SOUTH AFRICA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SERVICE TECHNICIAN in our Cape Town office.

Applicants must meet the following:
Essential:
Honest, hardworking & well presented.
A motivated self-starter who takes pride & ownership of their work.
Highly organised.
Possess excellent time management skills.
Strong problem solving, communication & reporting skills.
Able to work well with other professionals & tradespeople.
Current & valid driver's licence.
Desirable:
Experienced in the installation and service of Furuno, MaxSea, Navitron, Jotron marine electronics for commercial & pleasure vessels.
GMDSS General Operators Certificate
Will need to become familiar with a wide range of products & provide product support.
Knowledge of common software & computers.
Current passport.
Ideally the applicant will possess a trade qualification and/or several years 'hands-on' experience. Full training in VDR APT and IMO equipment will be provided to the right applicant.
