Service & Sales
Taylor Marine South Africa is an authorised Furuno National Distributor (FND) which means that we're an integral part of Furuno's Worldwide Deep Sea Service network. Our Service Coordination Centre is based in Cape Town, the heart of South Africa's maritime support industry and specialises in the supply, installation and service of navigation and communications equipment to the merchant and offshore service vessel fleets in Southern and West Africa.
We offer a comprehensive range of services for navigation and communications equipment, all backed up with local spare parts, qualified and experienced Service Engineers.
Servicing the sub-Saharan territory of Africa is challenging. Vast distances between ports has led us to adopt the FASK (Fly-Away Spares Kit) principle. We have invested heavily in FASK's with numerous kits available for common requests like radar, gyro, radio and satellite terminals. In addition to this we have also invested heavily in manufacturer specific technical training to ensure that our Service Engineers are prepared to meet all technical challenges.
Certified by most major Class Societies, Taylor Marine South Africa's Deep Sea Sales & Service Division is a leading service provider to major shipping companies from around the world.
