Leadership Announcement
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Mario Strydom to National Technical Manager – Taylor Marine South Africa (TMSA), effective 1 November 2026.
Mario a founding member of the Taylor Marine team in South Africa has held the position of BDM where his exceptional technical knowledge and a strong understanding of the southern African industry has seen the business grow from strength to strength.
In his new role, Mario will take overall responsibility for TMSA’s technical operations, resources and service capacity, providing leadership and technical oversight across our Deep Sea, Commercial Fishing, Light Marine and Projects divisions.
As Taylor Marine South Africa continues to grow and expand its operations, strengthening our technical leadership and management structure remains a key priority. Mario's appointment represents an important step in ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of technical expertise, service and customer support our industry expects.
